HuffPost sympathizes with Gaza over IDF soldier kidnapping, ignores soldier's identity, plight

For the duration of Operation Protective Edge, all posts concerning the conflict here at HUFF-WATCH will employ the above sub-banner, to remind readers new and old that the Huffington Post has been reliably turning facts on their heads in order to do Hamas's PR for it.

On August 2, HuffPost published this headline at the top of its front page, just under the splash:

Turns out, the story was sourced by Reuters, but HuffPost completely changed the headline, which originally read "Hamas defends ambush, blamed for ending Gaza ceasefire."

Why would HuffPost twist this headline in such an egregious way?

Lt. Goldin, 23, with his fiance.
His picture has yet to appear at
HuffPost.
The answer is, because HuffPost's editors chose to ignore the kidnapped IDF soldier, Lt. Hadar Goldin, 23, his fiance, his family and comrades, as well as the potential horrors that he is being subjected to at the hands of the gang of savages known as Hamas.  Instead, these editors decided to instead sympathize with what his kidnapping may mean for what they term Gaza's "nightmare."

Note also that HuffPost has not featured a single picture of Lt. Goldin on either its front page or World page.

Contrast this to the fact that when a Palestinian "journalist" was merely detained for a few hours by Israel, HuffPost featured her picture on its front page:

To feature Sgt. Goldin's face and story on HuffPost's front page would be to humanize him - and that is the one thing that HuffPost never does, for Israelis or Jews, as Huff-Watch and our friends at HuffPostMonitor have been documenting for the past five years.

As we've documented over and over again, HuffPost is only willing to "humanize" one side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: terrorists, their enablers, and their Muslim victims.  Lest we forget when Dirar Al Sisi, Hamas's chief rocket-maker, went missing on his way to an engineering conference, and HuffPost plastered his little girl's weepy-eyed face all over its front page and World page?

This practice of dehumanizing Israelis and Jews, and "super-humanizing" Palestinian terrorists and their victims, has been going on for many years at HuffPost:
HuffPost continues to do Hamas's PR, and dehumanizes Jews as a bonus
HuffPost's pathological anti-Semitic bias: Children's edition
Part 2: HuffPost gives super-coverage to "homesick" jihadi - and continues ignoring victims of jihad
HuffPost gives Palestinian murderer, IDF victim same moral status
PICTORIAL: HuffPost's anti-Semitic bias against Tolouse murder victims
HuffPost's anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias: Fogel family slaughter edition
More of HuffPost giving front-page, personalized coverage of Muslim deaths; Jewish victims of Muslim violence? Nope

Humanizing Palestinians (and dehumanizing Jews) as part of Hamas's and HuffPost's doctinres

The Huff-Watch special report, Huffington Post: Hamas's mouthpiece in the USA, revealed the fact that Hamas's spokesperson, and one of HuffPost's top video "journalists," claim that they have the same basic mandate: to "humanize" Palestinians.  This basic propaganda doctrine was affirmed in a recently-discovered Hamas training manual:
Regarding “the narrative of life vs. the narrative of blood: [When speaking] to an Arab friend, start with the number of martyrs. [But when speaking] to a Western friend, start with the number of wounded and dead,” the video states. “Be sure to humanize the Palestinian suffering. Try to paint a picture of the suffering of the civilians in Gaza and the West Bank during the occupation’s operations and its bombings of cities and villages.”
So in the end, this incident was just one more in the long, long pattern of HuffPost acting as Hamas's most reliable Western online PR shill.
"If you're going to produce great journalism, you have to build a team of people who are working together and driving toward the same goals editorially.”
--- Arianna Huffington, Advertising Age, April 7, 2011
Will anyone in a position of influence ever hold Arianna Huffington to account for the lies and incitement that are published as "news" in on the site that bears her name, and over which she maintains complete editorial control?  Or the advertisers who make it all possible?

HuffPost ignores U.S. Marine jailed in Mexico - but weeps for traitor, terrorists, and Palestinians

.
.

Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi
(Photo WSVN-TV)
On March 31, 2014 U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi accidentally crossed into Mexico, due to a confusing series of road signs, on his way to San Diego.  Mexican officials refused his request to turn around a few hundred feet over the border, and instead threw him in jail, where he has remained ever since.  The reason: Tahmooressi, who was essentially living out of his truck, was carrying all of his possessions, including three firearms, which he openly admitted to Mexican officials.

An Afghanistan war veteran suffering from PTSD, by all accounts Sgt. Tahmooressi served honorably, and was relocating to San Diego to obtain the mental health counseling that had been prescribed to him.  Since his incarceration in Mexico, however, Tahmooressi has reported that his jailers have beaten him, stripped him of his clothes, chained him to a bed, and threatened to rape him.

Here's a video summary of Sgt. Tahmooressi's situation:

So how many stories did the Huffington Post, the world's #1 most-read online "newspaper," publish about Sgt. Tahmooressi and his plight and allegations, in the nearly three months since he was taken captive by Mexico?

Zero - and you can prove this for yourself.  If you search "Andrew Tahmooressi" at HuffPost, you will find a list of returns - all of which have "huff-wires" in the URL, meaning that these were items that were inserted into HuffPost's news feed, but not published - least of all on its front page, or any prominent position.
.
.
Contrast HuffPost completely ignoring Sgt. Tahmooressi to the sympathetic coverage it has given to a convicted U.S. traitor, to Palestinians, and even Al Qaeda

As the following facts demonstrate, were Tahmooressi anything other than (a) an American combat veteran who honorably served, and (b) a gun owner, it would have given his plight front-page coverage.  Consider the following facts:

(1) HuffPost gave front-page splash treatment to Michael Moore's allegations that a Palestinian filmmaker was detained for merely a few hours at LAX:

(2) HuffPost gave front-page splash treatment to convicted traitor PFC Bradley Manning when it became difficult to prove whether or not his treason led to actual deaths of U.S. service members or our allies:

(3) HuffPost gave Manning a front-page editorial to explain why he was changing his name, and had changed genders - and left this editorial posted on the front page for four days:

(4) HuffPost gave five days of top coverage to a "homesick jihadi" - yet ignored the a U.S. military hero who was given the Medal of Honor during the same time period:

(5) HuffPost gave sympathetic front-page coverage to a "news" story that presents "the 'gentle face' of Al Qaeda":

(6) HuffPost gave splash treatment to Palestinians whom it alleged were "left behind by government, the world":

These are not isolated incidents, or "accidents," as HuffPost likes to claim when it is caught in embarrassing situations.  Rather, they are par for the course in the "news" room that is commanded by the woman who reportedly claimed she is "the future of journalism."
.
.
HuffPost's recent, sympathetic coverage of Al Jazeera "journalists" who were sentenced in Egypt (and who then made overt threats against the Egyptian government)

Most recently, on June 24, 2014 HuffPost published an editorialized teaser atop its news section, for an original "news" story that presents what it contends is the "heartbreaking" reaction that an Al Jazeera "journalist" had to being sentenced by an Egyptian court:

Note also that by HuffPost's own admission, amidst this "heartbreaking" ordeal, the "reporter" overtly threatened the court, screaming, "They will pay for this! I promise they will pay for this!":

Note further that as documented in a detailed report, HuffPost has a long, intense relationship with Al Jazeera, in which it has relentlessly worked to get the terrorist-celebrating "news" network into millions of U.S. homes.
.

Day 87 of Sgt. Tahmooressi's captivity, and terror: What you can do to help him
  • Learn the details at the Facebook page set up to help liberate Sgt. Tahmooressi, and sign the petitions that are linked therein.
    .
  • Contact your Congressional representatives and the White House to ask them to help free Sgt. Tahmooressi.
    .
  • Contact any of the corporations that advertise at HuffPost, to ask if they are aware of what it is they are enabling.
    .
  • Write or call Huffington Post's senior management to ask that they end the blackout of news on Sgt. Tahmooressi, and begin showing him, and all U.S. soldiers, the respect and sympathy that they show traitors, terrorists and Palestinians.

HuffPost's anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias: Lara Logan gang-rape edition

.
“[T]oo many reporters have forgotten that the highest calling of journalists is to ferret out the truth, consequences be damned.”
- Arianna Huffington, July 29, 2008

“[W]e are increasingly seen ... as an Internet newspaper, not positioned ideologically in terms of how we cover the news.”
- Arianna Huffington, May 22, 2009

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, HuffPost gave top-line coverage
to the shocking story of CBS correspondent Lara Logan. According to numerous reports, Logan was kidnapped in Cairo's Tahrir Square by an estimated 200 Egyptian men, savagely beaten and sexually assaulted for 30 minutes before she was rescued. (Right: Logan, moments just before she was kidnapped.)

HuffPost posted one "update" to the story, indicating that Logan would be released from the hospital the following day.

Yet HuffPost completely ignored reports that
CBS News and other sources claimed Ms. Logan's attackers shouted "JEW!!! JEW!!!" as they assaulted her.

Why did HuffPost omit this critical aspect of the story? If the religions were reversed --- if it were a story about 200 Jewish men who kidnapped and gang-raped a female Muslim journalist, while shouting "MUSLIM!!! MUSLIM!!!" --- would HuffPost also completely ignore it? Anyone who's paid attention to our deep documentation of HuffPost's approach to Israeli and Jewish affairs knows with 100% certainty that it would give such a story 72pt red headline treatment (like this, or this) for a week.

HuffPost's decision to ignore that part of the Logan story was the latest manifestation of its
long-documented anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias. Specifically, as we document below (Section 3):
  • HuffPost routinely publishes on its front page inflammatory allegations against Jews, for which it knows there is no proof.
  • HuffPost routinely ignores or buries documented acts and threats of savage violence against Jews by radical Islamists.

This article is divided into three parts:
(1) How we know that HuffPost completely ignored reports Ms. Logan's attackers shouted "JEW!!! JEW!!!" as they assaulted her.
.
(2) The "news" items that HuffPost decided to publish on its front page and World page, instead of anything regarding this aspect of story.
.
(3) How HuffPost's actions in this regard compare to its historic approach to covering inflammatory accusations against Jews... and against radical Islamists

(1) How we know that HuffPost completely ignored reports Ms. Logan's attackers shouted "JEW!!! JEW!!!" as they assaulted her.

HuffPost published its version of the story about Ms. Logan's abduction and attack on Feb. 15 at 4:23pm.

Nine hours later, on Feb. 16 at 1:19am, the New York Post broke the following story:
"60 Minutes" correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, "Jew! Jew!" as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo's main square Friday, CBS and sources said yesterday.
Soon thereafter, the Jerusalem Post, Fox News, the Boston Herald, and conservative, pro-Jewish and pro-Israeli blogs all began publicizing the story. Given the fact that HuffPost has
a crack team of 53 "editors" who pull insane "news" stories from the most obscure corners of the Web (example 1, 2, 3), it is simply not credible to assert that it was unaware of this report. Yet HuffPost completely ignored it. How do we know? Easy.

First, here's a screencap of HuffPost's
story page as of Feb. 19. Notice that the only update was that "Ms. Logan is reportedly being released from the hospital on Wednesday," meaning Feb. 16 --- and meaning that this "update" was posted on Tuesday, Feb. 15.

Second, here's a PDF that was taken
of a search at HuffPost using the term "Lara Logan" --- on Feb. 17 at 12:18pm, nearly 36 hours after the New York Post story broke. Do you notice anything missing? There's not a single news story that mentioned anything regarding anyone shouting, "Jew!!!"

Even HuffPost's selection and positioning of blog articles on the Logan attack reflect its anti-Semitic bias --- and its willingness to protect radical Islamists.

HuffPost also published a number of blog articles (opinion pieces) pertaining to the Logan attack --- and its actions in this regard further reflect its anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias:
  • At 11:30am on Feb. 16 --- ten hours after reports broke that Ms. Logan's attackers were yelling, "JEW!!! JEW!!!" --- HuffPost decided to publish near the top of its front page a blog article by Islamist-apologizing "anthropologist." It falsely claimed that there's nothing inherent in the radical Islamist mindset (which is dominant in Egypt) that leads to women and girls being subjected to savage brutality. Perhaps this scholar, and HuffPost's crack team of worldly editors, are unaware of this, this and this (caution: graphic media). Because of the prominent positioning that HuffPost gave the piece, it got 741 user comments as of Feb. 18.
  • On Feb. 17, HuffPost published a blog article that described the reality of the widespread abuse of females in Egypt, without reference to any religion. But HuffPost placed this story somewhere beyond public view --- not on the front page, and not on the World page (we know, because we checked). Because of its obscure positioning, the piece only got 7 user comments as of Feb. 18.

(2) So what kinds of "news" items did HuffPost decide were more important to publish on its front page and World page?

Here's a sampling of the "news" stories that
HuffPost decided to publish on its front page, on Feb. 17-18 (clockwise from top left):
(1) Ironically, just beneath the splash headline was "Arianna discusses her editorial vision"
(2) Just beneath that was "Transsexual model on Oprah"
(3) A little further down: A picture of Bill O'Reilly defaced with clown makeup
(4) Kitten dress-up - "An orgy of cuteness"
And here's a sampling of the "news" stories that HuffPost decided to publish on its World page, on Feb. 17-18 (clockwise from top left):
(1) "Nazi 3D films from 1936 discovered"
(2) "Pick-up artist teaches Chinese men the art of seduction" (posted 2/14)
(3) "Berlusconi's teen lover wants to be compensated"
(4) "Female anchor mocks co-host's manhood live on-air"

HuffPost decided that these stories were more important for its global audience to be aware of, than reports from CBS and other sources that Lara Logan's attackers yelled "JEW!!! JEWS!!!" as they beat and sexually assaulted her?

(3) How HuffPost's actions in this regard compare to its historic approach to covering inflammatory accusations against Jews... and against radical Islamists

Our archive of documentation of HuffPost's anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias is overflowing with examples of the double-standard it applies to its coverage of Jewish vs. Muslim/Islamist news, issues and inflammatory content. Following are some highlights, with links to the master documentation.

As you peruse these examples, and consider the pattern of HuffPost editorial decisions that produced them, keep in the back of your mind the question we asked earlier:
Do you think if a gang of 200 Jews kidnapped a female Muslim reporter, and gang-raped her while shouting "MUSLIM!!! MUSLIM!!!," HuffPost might give it some coverage?
But rather than speculating, let's focus on HuffPost's specific historic acts and omissions that give clear indication of its bias concerning radical Islamist and Jewish affairs, and that bear relation to what happened to Ms. Logan.

(a) HuffPost routinely publishes on its front page
inflammatory allegations against Jews, for which it knows there is no proof.

HuffPost may claim that it had no triple-checked, hard evidence with which to support CBS's and other sources' allegations about the Egyptian men yelling "JEW!!! JEW!!!" at Ms. Logan as they beat and assaulted her. If that were its journalistic standard (which it isn't), then there is no explanation for the following:
  • When Israeli Jews were accused of murdering Palestinian Muslims to "harvest their organs," HuffPost published the story prominently on its front page ---- even though the "journalist" admitted in the story that he had "no idea, no clue" if the allegations were true or not. Yet when numerous reports came out soon thereafter that revealed (a) the allegation is medically impossible, and (b) the Palestinian family at the center of the story denied ever making the allegation, HuffPost completely ignored them. (Link)
  • When the Israeli military merely detained a female Palestinian journalist, HuffPost put the story on its front page, along with her face and her allegations of her "interrogation," without knowing whether or not it was PallyWood propaganda (Link; screencap below, left).
  • When a group of unruly rabbis reportedly "spit on" what HuffPost claimed is a "seasoned" journalist, again, HuffPost put that on its front page --- even though there was zero proof, and it turns out the "journalist" had just been exposed for her anti-Israel bias (Link; screencap below, center).
  • When the notorious, jihadist-celebrating al-Jazeera posted a totally unverifiable smear --- alleging that Israeli guards "humiliated" a female detainee --- HuffPost ran it right on its front page, not knowing whether it was PallyWood propaganda (Link; screencap below, right).

  • "Outrageous Statements": HuffPost periodically runs items on its front page alluding to "outrageous statements" by Israeli officials and religious figures. (Link) Yet it pathologically ignores, and has never run a comparable analysis of "outrageous statements" by Hamas, Hezbollah and other radical Islamist terror groups --- which tend to include genocidal threats. (Link; more, more)

(b) HuffPost routinely ignores or buries documented
acts and threats of savage violence against Jews by radical Islamists.

Conversely, even when HuffPost has direct access to abundant physical proof of radical Islamists' savagery --- such as Hamas's own words, and pictures of it celebrating its murder of Jewish civilians --- it pathologically refuses to feature any of it.
  • In December 2010, HuffPost gave front-page coverage of Hamas's claim that it was committed to a "cease-fire" with Israel. Yet in the prior weeks, HuffPost completely ignored every one of Hamas's admitted rocket attacks and attempts to murder Jews, and its genocidal threats against them. Instead, it published "news" stories on its front page such as color pictures of Hitler at Christmas (which it'd been running for four days straight), video of chimpanzees opening Christmas presents, etc. (Link; more)
  • Our special report, "HuffPost's pathological anti-Semitic bias: Children's edition," documented the fact that it buried, then quickly removed the story of Hamas's targeting and murder of four Jewish civilians --- including a mother of six who was nine months pregnant. It also completely ignored the names and pictures of the victims and their funeral --- as well as pictures of Hamas leading jubilant celebrations in Gaza over this "heroic act" --- all of which were readily-available. Yet when militant Islamists are killed by Israel in the course of attempting to arrest them, or sneaking into Israel, HuffPost routinely twists the stories to make them appear as "victims," features their names and pictures, and coverage of their funerals. More here, here, here.
(Inset: 9-year-old Hodoya Imes, seen at the funeral of her father and mother --- who was nine months pregnant --- at the time they were targeted and machine-gunned to death by Hamas. If only the Imes weren't Jewish, perhaps HuffPost would have given this outrage a scrap of the personal coverage it gives to militant Islamists who get killed.)
  • When Israel was blamed for a cross-border dispute with Lebanon, HuffPost put the story on its front page. Yet when it was revealed that Israel was the victim, and that Lebanon/Hezbollah had murdered a beloved IDF officer, HuffPost moved the story to a secondary page, then quickly removed it. HuffPost ignored the personal story of the IDF officer, refusing even to publish his name or picture --- yet decided that "news" stories about a parasailing donkey, and a woman who paints with her nipples, were more important to post --- and keep posted for days on end. (Link)
  • As noted above, HuffPost has a fetish for giving coverage to what it deems "outrageous statements" made by Israeli politicians and religious figures. Yet when when HuffPost's Middle East correspondent was given an exclusive interview with a top Hamas leader, she asked him not a single question about its "outrageous statements" (some of which she actually echoed). Further, it ran the story on its front page, and even allowed her to lash out against users who criticized her fawning approach. (Link)

ACTION ITEMS

Until February 5, 2011, the audience being subjected to HuffPost's malicious anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist bias was
24 million visitors per month. But on February 6, when Arianna became head of all AOL content --- including its "news" --- her audience grew by a factor of 12, to nearly 300 million people.

UPDATES

Feb. 20, 6:40pm: Thanks to reader "JJ," we learn that in regards to the Lara Logan story, HuffPost is only slightly less biased than
the terrorist-friendly, notorious Al-Jazeera, which it has repeatedly used as a "news" source, and even allowed to advertise on its pages. If you go to Al-Jazeera and enter "Lara Logan" as the search term, guess what? One article appears --- from 2007:

Then again, as we documented here, in some cases HuffPost is actually more anti-Semitic than Al Qaeda's network-of-choice.

9/10/10: HuffPost's pathological anti-Semitic bias: Children's edition

.
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
-- Animal Farm

Part 1 of this report, below, documents repeated incidents in which HuffPost buried under trash stories or ignored news of Muslims' violent attacks on Jewish adults and children, their celebrations of same, and threats of more. In one incident, it buried a story of Hamas's mass murder of Jewish civilians under a fawning interview its Middle East correspondent did with Hamas's chief propagandist.

Part 2, in contrast, documents repeated incidents in which HuffPost gave breathless, top-line coverage to Muslim children who were killed in the course of Israel defending itself from these attacks, and framed these stories using vicious anti-Israel libels.

HuffPost has repeatedly claimed it is "nonpartisan" in its news coverage, and is dedicated to "ferret[ing] out the truth, consequences be damned." Given the reality documented in this report, however, we can't help but wonder if this is what HuffPost's past CEO meant when she said the site approaches news with "new ideas about balance and fairness."

If you come to share our outrage over HuffPost's persistent anti-Semitic, anti-Israel bias, particularly as it's applied to children, and would like to make your voice known to its senior management, see "Action Items" at the end of Part 2.

Every now and then, a photo emerges that captures a moment in time that is so poignant, it becomes a cultural icon. A "snapshot" in time of an issue, an event, or a person that says far more than a thousand words.

Then, there are other photos that we, as individuals, feel fit this description --- but which those in positions of power dismiss or ignore. Thanks to the distributive and viral power of the Internet, however, some of these photos can take on lives of their own. With your help, we at HUFF-WATCH hope this is one of those instances.

A few days ago, we became aware of a photo that rocked us to our core. See what you think:

Meet Hodaya Imes, 9, a Jewish girl from Hebron, in the West Bank.

This photo, along with many others, was taken by the AP, HuffPost's primary news source, on September 1, as Hodoya wailed during the funeral service for her father, Yitzhak, and mother, Talya --- who was nine months pregnant.

The previous evening, Hodaya's parents (and their unborn child) and two other Jewish civilians were murdered by Hamas terrorists who ambushed and opened fire on their car with machine guns, in Hebron.

As we documented here, even before the funeral, HuffPost already spit in the faces of Hodaya and her five sibling-orphans in numerous ways:
  • HuffPost initially posted the story of the murder of Hodoya's parents deep on a secondary page, beneath stories it decided were of far greater importance --- including:
    - A fawning interview that HuffPost's Middle East correspondent conducted with Hamas's chief propagandist, in which she asked him why he thinks the West doesn't make Hamas "a partner" in the peace process (which inspired this sarcastic response from us)
    - "Girl Throws Puppies Into River"
    .
  • It briefly moved this story to its front page, but matched it with an egregiously-biased picture --- of a barrier wall (one of Hamas's big justifications for terror) --- instead of the AP's photo of the bullet-riddled car in which Hodoya's parents were murdered, which HuffPost editors possessed at the time.
    .
  • In violation of its rules, HuffPost reviewed, approved and decided to publish hate-filled comments from cyber-jihadis against Hodoya's parents and Jews in general, including:
    - "isreal finally getting a taste of its own medicine"
    - "Settlers"???... More like "land grabbers"

    .
  • HuffPost then moved the story back to the secondary page, and put new stories on the front page that it deemed were of far greater importance to its global audience, such as:
    - Conan names new show
    - A fistfight among women soccer players
    - A new resort for men and their virtual girlfriends (cartoon characters)
    - HuffPost's original reporting on a man who gave up a scheme to dance for his rent

As documented by numerous sources (here, here, here), thousands of Israelis attended the September 1 funeral for Hodoya's parents, their unborn child, and the other two victims:

The AP photographer on scene took many other photos of Hodoya, more than any other individual. Apparently, he or she saw the same things in her face that we did.

While there's no way to be certain, we believe what the AP photographer saw in her face was the combined horror of not only losing her beloved parents, and her unborn sibling, but the realization that there are beings on Earth who are so subhuman that they deliberately target unarmed civilians who are doing nothing more than going about their business, as her parents were.

============

So how much news coverage do you think HuffPost --- the #1 most-read blog in the world --- provided of the funeral of Hodoya's parents, their unborn child, and the other two victims of Hamas's savagery?

Zero. Absolutely none.

============

So does this mean that HuffPost's
crack team of 53 "editors" (presumably trained by Arianna Huffington, its Editor-In-Chief) didn't run any stories of "personal anguish" on its front page on September 1 and 2?

To the contrary, HuffPost decided that the
story of "a traumatized" passenger who's suing an airline deserved coverage on its front page, way up near the top (above a story of a death-match between a mongoose and a cobra) --- and that it should remain there for at least two days straight:

============

OK, but what about those 3,000 Gaza Muslims who were photographed erupting in celebrations over the murder of Hodoya's parents? Surely HuffPost found that newsworthy, didn't it?

============

Nope.
On August 31, Hamas announced
its delight with its "heroic operation in Hebron," after which an estimated 3,000 Gaza Muslims --- including children --- were photographed openly celebrating the murder of Hodoya's parents (and the two other Jewish civilians):

The photos were taken by Reuters, which HuffPost also routinely utilizes as a news source.

HuffPost gave
no coverage whatsoever to these celebrations. Zero.

============

Well what about the
second Hamas attack, on September 1, in which its savages
opened fire on another car being driven by two Jewish civilians, a rabbi and his wife --- nearly killing one, and seriously injuring the other? Surely HuffPost gave that some coverage, right?

============

Nope. From
Haaretz, which HuffPost regularly uses --- when it wants to:
Two Israelis wounded in second West Bank shooting attack in two days
Excerpt (emphasis added): [Hamas] said in a short SMS message sent to reporters on Wednesday that its militants opened fire at an Israeli car and wounded two Israelis, one of them seriously.

"This attack is a message to those who promised that Hebron attack, which was carried out on Tuesday, won't be repeated again," said the group's SMS message.

HuffPost gave this story zero coverage. None.

So what types of "personal stories" did HuffPost decide were more important for its global audience to be aware of, and to publish on its front page, instead of this one? Here's a sampling:
Bikini pictures of Demi Moore

Tennis Player COLLAPSES At U.S. Open

A "traumatized" passenger who's suing an airline

'Housewife' Teresa: How We Blew $11 Million

============

What about the third
Hamas attack, on September 2, in which its savages
attacked an Israeli girl with stones, causing a head injury? Surely HuffPost gave that some coverage, right?

============

Nope. From Israel National News and many other sources:
Israeli Girl Suffers Head Wound from Heavy Stone in Rock Attack

Terrorists wounded an Israeli girl, a resident of Har Bracha, on Thursday night in a rock attack near the Tapuach junction in Samaria. According to reports, the girl was travelling (sp) with her parents in the family vehicle when Arabs threw stones towards the vehicle near Kfar Haras. The girl was hit in the head by a heavy stone in the attack. [...]

The victim was taken to the Schneider Children's Hospital in Petach Tikvah. Her condition was defined as moderate, meaning that doctors do not currently fear for her life but that there is a risk of permanent handicap.

HuffPost completely ignored this story.

So what kinds of stories did HuffPost decide possessed more timely urgency than this one, that its global audience should be aware of?
As shown below, it re-posted its fawning interview with Hamas's chief propagandist...

.... and stories about a Nazi ballerina, and
rare color photos of Hitler.

And how long do you suppose HuffPost left these stories published --- instead of covering Hamas's reign of violence and threats against Jews? It left them posted on its World page for an entire week straight:

============

"OK, these are all recent examples. But you said HuffPost has a long history of this kind of anti-Semitic bias against Jewish children. Are there any examples?"

============

See this archive for our coverage of HuffPost's anti-Semitic, anti-Israel bias,
stretching back to 2006. The single best-documented example we have, specifically regarding Jewish children, is from 2009 --- HuffPost's "coverage" of the murder of Shlomo Nativ.

Shlomo, a 16 year old Israeli Jew, was hacked to death by an ax-wielding Muslim terrorist in the West Bank. A 7-year-old companion of Nativ's was also attacked by the same savage, and was clinging to life.

To its credit, HuffPost actually ran the story, and gave it prominent (although not top-line) placement. But HuffPost's pathological anti-Semitic bias as applied to Shlomo, and its willful facilitation of the cyber-jihad in regards to his murder, required a two-part post:
Part 1 documented the fact that HuffPost reviewed, approved and decided to publish comments from cyber-jihadis against Shlomo that were so ghoulish and hateful that they even exceeded what Hamas said about him and his murder. This is why we framed part 1 of our documentation of this incident as a quiz:
Ax murder of an Israeli child: Who said it - A terrorist spokesman, or HuffPost users (with approval)?
Part 2 documented how HuffPost depersonalized Shlomo, and the story of his murder --- whereas it does the exact opposite in regards to Muslim terrorists, and Muslim children (see part 2 of this report). Specifically, even though Shlomo's name and picture, and pictures of the scene of his murder were all available at the time HuffPost ran its story, it used none of them.
