Special items to pay attention to:
  • HuffPost consistently depicted Operation Cast Lead in almost exactly the way that Hamas wanted: with Israel in the role of brutish, Nazi-like warmonger, Hamas militants described as "security officers" or "security personnel," and Palestinian civilians as the implied target and primary victims of Israel's military.

  • In no instance did HuffPost chronicle the harm that Hamas was causing to Palestinian civilians, by instigating this conflict --- or by murdering them, using them as human shields, stealing U.N. relief supplies being sent to them (in part through an Israeli border crossing, etc.).

  • In no instance did HuffPost graphically depict the harm that Israelis were, and had been suffering via Hamas terrorism, which is what precipitated its incursion into Gaza.

How many Israelis were killed by those rocket attacks? And what provoked those attacks? Did they just happen out of the blue. One day those whacky Hamasians decide to launch rockets?
Just asking. Doesn't matter really. Israeli violence has always been disproportionate. Dozens, if not hundreds, of Palestinians die to one Israeli. Been happening for years, and will continue to happen. Nothing can be done about it really. Might as well sit back, and watch the spectacle.

Anyone with a moral conscience needs to contact their politicians and media immediately so that the slaughter of innocent children and civilians will stop. The real terror can be seen in the eyes of the children (60% of the population) who have been dealing with U.S. supplied F-16 jets for 18 months along with an illegal blockade that keeps them from receiving food, water, medicine and fuel.
Israel should be tried for war crimes. The Geneva Convention says you can't collectively punish a civilian population.
Israel broke the cease fire by not dramatically reducing the blockade as promised.
They then killed 6 Palestinians and captured 6 more on Nov. 4. Hamas had reigned in missiles until that date. U.S. citizens and their AIPAC controlled politicians have blood on their hands by supplying Israel with $5 billion dollars a year.
