This was one of three "news" stories HuffPost published today and yesterday concerning Israel (see here, here). On each of them, it obligingly reviewed, approved and decided to publish the usual assortment of libels against Israel and its military, along with good old-fashioned anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and hatred as well.
On July 13, 2009, HuffPost published the following story at 7:29pm, and placed this teaser near the top of its main page (see scrollbar position on second screen shot). The story link is here.
An excerpt from the story, which was sourced through the Jerusalem Post:
A high-ranking white supremacist on the run from US federal authorities was arrested on Monday night in a south Tel Aviv hideout. 33-year-old Micky Louis Mayon, one of America's 100 Most Wanted criminals, and a member of the Ku Klux Klan, was arrested in a Florentine apartment by the National Immigration Authority's newly formed Oz enforcement unit.
One might think that if ever there was a reason for the anti-Semites, and Israel- and conservative-haters at HuffPost to ease off for a moment on their libels and hate-speech, this would be it. Similarly, one might think that given Israel's work in this regard, HuffPost might make a special effort to not approve and publish so many user comments containing libels and hate towards Israel, Jews and Republicans.
Unfortunately, on both counts, one would be wrong.
PDFs were captured of several of the pages* of this thread at 1:24am on July 14, six hours after it was posted (*a few were sufficient to turn a normal person's stomach). The following are some of the 148 user comments that HuffPost reviewed, approved and decided to publish on it at this time (listed in chronological order).
As you review these comments, it's worth keeping in mind HuffPost's (supposed) comment policies and terms of service (here), which (supposedly) prohibit ethnic slurs, ad hominem attacks, libelous and off-topic comments, etc.
Special note: Click the links labeled [active] to show that whereas HuffPost protects the most egregious violators of its "policies," while routinely censoring and/or banning non-violating users --- some, after as few as six comments --- it not only approved these users' comments, it has left them free to continue posting.

Anybody who's seen interviews with the rightwing Israeli settlers would have no problem understanding why white supremacists would find refuge among certain people in Israel.
