Part 4: HuffPost unleashes, protects rabid leftist users --- and suppresses users who try to post the truth

.
Continued from Part 3: HuffPost, finding its false narrative collapsing, doubles-down on its "jihad" against Palin, et al

The one thing we weren't able to document to the extent we wished was the degree to which HuffPost allowed its rabid leftist users to violate its Comment Policy at will --- while suppressing conservative users who attempted to fight back, and post the truth.

What we
were able to document, however, is plenty damning.

And given what we've documented previously*, the honest observer will have little doubt as to the madness that HuffPost not only enabled, but protected, since January 8, in regarding user comments. (*see
"Previous documentation of HuffPost's betrayal of its Comment Policy," at end)

(1) HuffPost was holding back hundreds or thousands of comments at a time in "Pending," meaning they were awaiting its review, and decision on whether to publish or not

The following screencap shows that at one point, there were
260 comments pending on the "Palin responds" thread. At various times during this period, we observed up to 1,800 comments in pending:

As a reminder, see this special report for detailed documentation of the fact that since early 2008, HuffPost has been fully pre-moderating every comment that is submitted to any page on the site. This means that that the only comments that appear on HuffPost are those that it has reviewed, approved, and decided to publish.

This was all
confirmed by Ms. Huffington in a little-known July 2008 interview. When asked to identify the biggest mistake HuffPost made since its debut, she replied:

"From the beginning, I would have established a policy of pre-moderating all comments on the site. [...] Our comments on the news site were originally post-moderated (i.e., objectionable comments were removed only after our moderators were alerted). We eventually decided that it was worth the substantial effort and expense to have human pre-moderation on both blogs and news."

In a July 2010 Newsweek interview, Ms. Huffington reaffirmed the fact that HuffPost pre-moderates all user comments:
"Huffington credits her decision early on to moderate comments and keep things civil rather than allowing the typical Internet free-for-all. It’s a lot of work — HuffPo has 20 people who do nothing but weed out the nasties."

And in mid-2010, HuffPost revised its Comment Policy to admit that its staff moderators' function is "
to publish appropriate comments and delete inappropriate comments."

(2) HuffPost Moderators were blocking and removing --- on a minute-to-minute basis --- comments by conservative users, who attempted to post the truth behind HuffPost's omissions and libels against Sarah Palin

We saw and heard about innumerable instances such as that which is documented below. HuffPost approved and published a rant by
"Kye154" alleging that Sarah Palin had "targeted" Rep. Giffords for a "reign of terror," and thus, is responsible for this attempted assassination.

HuffPost apparently accidentally allowed another user (unknown name) to post a comment indicating that the Democrats routinely use similar "target" maps, and that even the Daily Kos had "targeted" Rep. Giffords' district recently.

But within a few moments, HuffPost removed that comment --- yet it allowed other users to challenge the poster to post his proof.... which it was clearly, actively preventing him/her from doing.

(3) Veteran users complaining of tight moderation; only one in five comments being posted

Below, another user, apparently a veteran of the site, "Hill_Dweller" (184 fans), complained about HuffPost's heavy moderation on these threads. Another user, "itschuck2c," estimated that only one in five comments are getting posted. While not conclusive, this certainly gives indication as to the sense that HuffPost was exerting very tight control over every comment on every thread concerning the Arizona shootings --- which is really important to remember as you review the vile comments ahead.

(4) HuffPost unleashes, enables, protects rabid users and Moderators to post vile hate, veiled solicitations of violence against Sarah Palin --- in direct response to its incitement

Below are just several examples of the most vile comments from users and Moderators that we were able to capture; thousands upon thousands more exist.

HuffPost promoted "JesusGlock9OilBaron" from mere anti-Semitic user to Moderator --- and enables, protects him to unleash vile ad hominem attacks on Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh.

See
here for example of "JesusGlock9OilBaron's" rabid anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, back when he was just a "user." Now a "Moderator," who demonstrates knowledge that HuffPost indeed pre-reviews all comments, and decides which ones to publish, it decided to publish his obscene attacks on Sarah Palin (left), and on Rush Limbaugh.

Note that in response to his attack on Palin, another user, "Carpe_Diem" turned the insult back on "JesusGlock" --- and was promptly banned by HuffPost.

HuffPost approved miscellaneous radical leftists to unleash vile hatred against Sarah Palin:

"pterack5" -
"Mrs. Palin is guilty of murder... and should be run down"

"LiberalLee," COMMUNITY MODERATOR
(1,158 "fans") --- "Rot you poisonous bitch... hope you choke..."

(5) Previous documentation of HuffPost's betrayal of its Comment Policy
The "MirrorMirror" Test (Sarah Palin)
Despite its Comment Policy's prohibition of comments containing vulgar, racist, personal attacks, HuffPost has made it a practice of reviewing, approving and deciding to publish such comments when they're directed at Sarah Palin and her children. This test was conducted to determine what HuffPost would do if another user copied and pasted these exact comments that HuffPost approved and published regarding Sarah Palin --- but reworded them to target Michelle Obama. (The results are about what you'd expect: HuffPost enabled a free-for-all against Palin, but when the exact same comments were directed to Obama, the user was almost instantly banned.)

HuffPost's protection of the most egregious violators of its "policies" --- and its banning of non-violators, on a minute-to-minute basis

HuffPost enables, protects one of its “Community Moderators” to repeatedly threaten, call for murder of Boehner, Kochs, Cheney, others

Part II: HuffPost enables, protects Moderators to post threats, solicitations of violence & death wishes

"Hey, let's go murder energy industry executives!!!" (HuffPost: "Approved, protected!!!")

HuffPost users: "Hey, someone should murder President Bush!!!" (HuffPost: "Approved!!!")

HuffPost Users: "Hey, Let's Murder Bankers!!!" (HuffPost: "Approved!!!")
.

Action Steps:
If you find yourself shocked, disgusted and gravely concerned at what HuffPost does, incites and tolerates, please consider
taking the following action steps:
(1) Make your voice known to HuffPost's senior management and investors here.

(2) Write or call one or more of HuffPost's top advertisers, to let them know your thoughts on what their ad dollars are enabling.

(3) Forward the link to this article to others that you think should be aware of it.

I see. So it's perfectly OK when you accuse R.ush of being a pedop.hile, over and over again, being that you're a maw.d, but when your own weaknesses are addressed, being that you're such a sim.pering beta male, you don't like it, hm?

Poor Glock. E.ff off you malig.nant PO.S. It's all downhill from here. "

If you are going to post things, post the entire story. Wow. That Carpe Diem sounds like a fine upstanding conservative.

  4. Beej, you are one pathetic little twerp. How the fuck does a Head Case like yourself even function in society? What do you do, Beej, sit inside and let Mrs. Beej do all the work while you hole up down in the basement with a shortwave radio, computer, dial-up AOL, and a case of pork rinds?

I hope you really get out of line with your cyberstalking and bullying, Beej. I'd love to be among those who help put Beej in prison.
